Born in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, in 1984, he received his B.E. degree in Biomedical Engineering and Ph.D. degree in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Systems from Xidian University in 2007 and 2012, respectively. His doctoral dissertation was selected as an Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of Xidian University. He is currently a "Huashan Scholar" Leading Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Xidian University, a member of the Party Committee of the School of Life Sciences and Technology, Secretary of the Party Branch of Advanced Medical Imaging (a provincial-level model branch), the discipline leader of Biomedical Engineering, and the head of the Laboratory of Biomedical Photonics and Molecular Imaging. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Air Force Medical University, a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at the University of Macau, and a Visiting Scholar at Purdue University, USA. He is a Principal Investigator (PI) of the National Key Laboratory of High-Performance Electronic Equipment Electromechanical Integration Manufacturing, the Director of the Shaanxi Provincial Key Laboratory of Advanced Diagnosis and Therapy Technology and Equipment, and the Director of the Xi'an Key Laboratory of Cross-Scale Life Information Intelligent Sensing and Regulation. He has been selected as a National Leading Talent, a National Young Talent, a Provincial Leading Talent, and a Provincial Young Talent.

Prof. Zhengchun Liu is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Electronic Information, Central South University, where he serves as the Director of the Department of Electronic Engineering. He is a member of the University Academic Committee, Deputy Director of the Information Science Subcommittee, and a "531 Talent" of Central South University. He has been recognized as a Young Backbone Teacher of Hunan Provincial Universities and an academic leader of the Biomedical Engineering Key Discipline of Hunan Province during the "12th Five-Year Plan" period. He is a Senior Member of the Chinese Society of Micro-Nano Technology, a Senior Member of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, an inaugural Senior Member of the Chinese Chemical Society, and a member of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials. He also serves as a Committee Member of the Bioelectronics Branch of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, Executive Director of the Hunan Instrumentation and Control Society, Standing Committee Member of the Technical Committee of the Hunan Sensing Industry Promotion Association, and Council Member of the Hunan Electronic Society. He is an Associate Editor of Chemical Engineering Journal and an Associate Editor of Mini-Reviews in Medicinal Chemistry (an SCI-indexed journal published by Bentham Science). He is a reviewer for nearly 80 international journals, including Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Analytical Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering Journal.
